During my time out west I became fascinated with the National Parks. Over the years I have traveled around photographing these amazing locations and, upon returning to my studio,  represented these sites in my own unique way. Some works may be easily recognizable, while others may have taken on a more abstract rendering. My primary method for this series has been in understanding the effects of water, wind and gravity over great periods of time. By incorporating these elements in my process I feel I can re-interpret, in some tiny span, their mark on the landscape. This is a lifelong passion and I look forward to exploring some of the parks in my more immediate surroundings as well as making return visits to my old friends.
