Hello Friends, welcome to Backwater Gallery and Studio. We've been open for a couple months now and can't thank the Chestertown community enough for their warm welcome and support. Backwater features the work of landscape artist, Jono Tew, who after many years spent in the American Southwest has brought his unique perspective to the rivers and countryside of Maryland's Eastern Shore. Jono's original oil paintings and hand-made prints are on view as well as a look into the artist's studio and work currently in progress.
